Task
New international student in Urbana-Champaign looking to find a used bi-cycle.

Search for a bicycle that is for sale.
From the Activity diagram we can see that there is approximately 4 steps involved for the user to achieve the desired search page and there are basically two ways (using search box and using “for sale” link) for the user to reach the end goal. Both ways currently take 4 steps from the user.
Inferences
Will the user achieve the right outcome?
Ans: Yes

Will the user notice that the correct action is available to them?
Ans: No. The position and size of the search textbox is not what a regular user expects. It is difficult to spot immediately. The “for sale” link is one of the several categories that have been placed on the home page. The fonts used is also very small, un-readable and cluttered. It will take a new user some time to figure out where to look and find the “for sale section”.

Will the user associate the correct action with the outcome they expect to achieve?
Ans: Yes.

If the correct action is performed; will the user see that progress is being made towards their intended outcome?
Ans: Yes. Once user finds the search box then other actions follow in sync. Once user finds the “for sale” link then user will click it and find required page.
