Abstract

Craigslist is highly content driven and this data is mostly added by users and not by Craigslist. Hence, categorisation of items becomes very important in order to search for specific items. This initial analysis will focus mainly on the existing search methods and improving them.

In order to understand the existing working of the system we will start with a persona and give the persona a task that he/she will perform on Craigslist. Find different personas and analysis specific to them here: Persona1 and Persona2
