Craigslist Redesign

Interface Analysis:

Our team would be Analyzing and Designing Craigslist website.

​

It is a very popular destination for people to buy, sell or rent used goods, apartments etc. They have a forum and community-based design. Craigslist is also a place for people to post and find local events.

 

The services are mostly free.

 

As popular and functional the website is, its user interface design has a lot of flaws.

Early insights:

• home page needs to be redesigned

• home page can have menus

• home page has lots of information that a user cannot immediately understand which can be grouped or presented in a more meaningful way

• several pages like resumes page for example needs to be redesigned

 

Initial Analysis:

We will be using Cognitive Walk-through Analysis and Competitive Analysis to study the interface.
